Power Quality Metering & Energy Conservation

Our Dranetz 4400 PowerGuide meter is installed to detect a wide range of power quality issues, from transient voltages and spikes to data logging and load balancing.  The recording time is based on the type of study, ranging from fractions of a second for troubleshooting to month long studies for overall power quality.

Data can be viewed in real time using scope mode, meter mode, event mode, harmonics spectrum or phasor diagrams. Data can be viewed and zoom-in on captured disturbances for more detail and automated event characterization on the meter, or a formal report can be generated showing detailed summaries of the events captured.

Energy conservation is accomplished by turning off equipment and shutting down processes.  Energy management is an on-going operation of total team awareness of procedures and an overall understanding of the goals to accomplish.  Lee Contracting will work with you to develop an energy management process, allowing you to manage your energy needs to produce the absolute minimum consumption.

Infrared Scanning & Electrical Cabinet Scanning

In production plants office facilities, hospitals or hotels, an infrared camera instantly makes hot spots visible on a clear thermal image.  We can scan electrical cabinets and components and survey multiple wires and connections to get an instant picture of potential trouble.

Detect the problem area and repair it before real problems occur, resulting in down time, damaged equipment and possibly injuries to personnel.  Common electrical targets are fuses, electrical panels, bolted connections, switchgears and circuit breakers.

A thermal camera allows you to measure the temperature of any object you are looking at in a non-contact mode, without putting personnel in danger.  We are able to detect the most diverse electrical problems instantaneously by seeing them on a thermal image.

Unlike most other testing companies, Lee Contracting conducts our testing using highly skilled and knowledgeable state licensed electricians with years of experience and up to date arc flash training and equipment.  Additionally, we are qualified to make appropriate repairs and recommendations based on the report findings.
